Chris Davidson has spent twenty years on the unglamorous end of semantics: making controlled vocabularies work inside regulated environments. He began with MedDRA, WHO-Drug, and Oracle Thesaurus Management in drug safety, later designing OMOP-aligned data standards for real-world evidence research at Bristol Myers Squibb. He is a contributor to Epistract, the MIT-licensed agentic architecture for biomedical knowledge graph construction, where he contributed the clinical trials, FDA product-label, and pharmacovigilance domains, encoding Bradford-Hill causality, MedDRA preferred terms, and FDA-canonical identifiers into typed, ontology-grounded extraction. He is credited for that work in Epistract: A Two-Layer Knowledge Graph Framework with an Epistemic Super-Domain Layer (2026). He publishes through Deer Trail Innovation Group.
