Vic is currently CTO of Elder Research Inc, a data science consulting firm with 25 years of experience, and CEO of Blackmarker, a venture spun out from Elder Research in 2018. Blackmarker is an AI/ML powered, cloud-native privacy management solution. We have found an initial market fit in legal tech space. Our existing models target PII (Personally Identifiable Information) in these documents and redact them automatically. Our clients have seen a tremendous savings in operational expense (~50-70%) and gains in accuracy (~50%). Prior to Elder Research and Blackmarker, Vic was a Senior Director of Technology at MegaPath, where he led a team in charge of architecture, design and operations of advanced enterprise communication solutions. Prior to MegaPath, Vic was VP of Engineering and CTO of telecommunication start-up sentitO Networks, where he led hardware and software developments. In this capacity, he assisted in raising 60M in venture financing. Vic also had roles within BNR/Northern Telecom and Pulsecom in engineering and management positions – most notably leading the technical aspects of the sale of Pulsecom’s Broadband division to ECI Telecom for 61M.
